Privacy Policy

This explains what Maevi collects and why, in plain language, across our website and our app. We try to collect only what we need to run the marketplace. We don’t use advertising trackers. We use cookies to keep you signed in, and our video player (Mux) records anonymous playback-quality data, like buffering and load times, so videos play smoothly.

What we collect

Account info: your name, email, and (for educators) your bio, links, and professional license details. Purchase info: what you bought and when; card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us. Usage: basic data like which lessons you’ve completed, to power your library and progress.

License documents

Educator license photos are stored privately and are only ever viewed by our admins for verification. They are never shown publicly and never shared with other users.

Who we share with

We use trusted processors to operate: Supabase (database & auth), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Mux (video), and Resend (email). They process data only to provide their service to us. We don’t sell your personal data.

Video protection

Course videos are delivered through short-lived signed links tied to your access, so paid content can’t be viewed by people who haven’t bought it.

Your choices

You can edit your profile any time. You can delete your account and personal data yourself from Account settings on the website or in the app, or ask us to by emailing support@maeviedu.com. Requests by email are completed within 30 days. Deleting your account ends access to courses you’ve bought. Records of completed purchases and payouts are kept where tax and accounting law requires, with your name and email removed.
